And I will heal your backslidings." I have seen his ways, and will heal
him; I will also lead him, And restore comforts to him And to his mourners.

My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole
heart. "I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off

GOD RESTORES PEOPLE
(2 Samuel 14:14 NKJV) "For we will surely die and become
like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. Yet God
does not take away a life; but He devises means, so that His banished ones are
not expelled from Him.
(Job 33:26 NKJV) He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He shall see
His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness.
(Psalms 23:1-3 NKJV) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. {2} He makes me
to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. {3} He
restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
(Psalms 51:10-13 NKJV) Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast
spirit within me. {11} Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take
Your Holy Spirit from me. {12} Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And
uphold me by Your generous Spirit. {13} Then I will teach transgressors Your
ways, And sinners shall be converted to You.
(Psalms 107:15-22 NKJV) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His
goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! {16} For He has
broken the gates of bronze, And cut the bars of iron in two. {17} Fools, because
of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted. {18}
Their soul abhorred all manner of food, And they drew near to the gates of
death. {19} Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them
out of their distresses. {20} He sent His word and healed them, And delivered
them from their destructions. {21} Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD
for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! {22} Let
them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare His works with
rejoicing.
(Isaiah 1:16-18 NKJV) "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the
evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, {17} Learn to do
good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the
widow. {18} "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD,
"Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though
they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.
(Isaiah 38:16-17 NKJV) O LORD, by these things men live; And in all these things
is the life of my spirit; So You will restore me and make me live. {17} Indeed
it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly
delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins
behind Your back.
(Isaiah 57:17-19 NKJV) For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry and
struck him; I hid and was angry, And he went on backsliding in the way of his
heart. {18} I have seen his ways, and will heal him; I will also lead him, And
restore comforts to him And to his mourners. {19} "I create the fruit of
the lips: Peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near," Says
the LORD, "And I will heal him."
(Jeremiah 3:22 NKJV) "Return, you backsliding children, And I will heal
your backslidings." "Indeed we do come to You, For You are the LORD
our God.
(Jeremiah 24:7 NKJV) 'Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the
LORD; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall
return to Me with their whole heart.
(Jeremiah 30:16-17 NKJV) 'Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured;
And all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; Those who
plunder you shall become plunder, And all who prey upon you I will make a prey.
{17} For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,' says the
LORD, 'Because they called you an outcast saying: "This is Zion; No one
seeks her."'
(Jeremiah 31:16-18 NKJV) Thus says the LORD: "Refrain your voice from
weeping, And your eyes from tears; For your work shall be rewarded, says the
LORD, And they shall come back from the land of the enemy. {17} There is hope in
your future, says the LORD, That your children shall come back to their own
border. {18} "I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself: 'You have
chastised me, and I was chastised, Like an untrained bull; Restore me, and I
will return, For You are the LORD my God.
(Lamentations 5:21 NKJV) Turn us back to You, O LORD, and we will be restored;
Renew our days as of old,
(Hosea 5:15 NKJV) I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their
offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly
seek Me."
(Hosea 6:1-3 NKJV) Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He
will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. {2} After two days He
will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His
sight. {3} Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth
is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter
and former rain to the earth.
(Joel 2:25-26 NKJV) "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming
locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing
locust, My great army which I sent among you. {26} You shall eat in plenty and
be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously
with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.
(Micah 7:18-19 NKJV) Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over
the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger
forever, Because He delights in mercy. {19} He will again have compassion on us,
And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of
the sea.
(Matthew 18:11-13 NKJV) "For the Son of Man has come to save that which was
lost. {12} "What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of
them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to
seek the one that is straying? {13} "And if he should find it, assuredly, I
say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did
not go astray.
(Matthew 18:21-22 NKJV) Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often
shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"
{22} Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to
seventy times seven.
(Luke 15:4-6 NKJV) "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses
one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the
one which is lost until he finds it? {5} "And when he has found it, he lays
it on his shoulders, rejoicing. {6} "And when he comes home, he calls
together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have
found my sheep which was lost!'
(Acts 3:19-21 NKJV) "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may
be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the
Lord, {20} "and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you
before, {21} "whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of
all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the
world began.
(Galatians 6:1-3 NKJV) Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who
are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself
lest you also be tempted. {2} Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law
of Christ. {3} For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing,
he deceives himself.
(James 4:8 NKJV) Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your
hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
(1 John 1:8-10 NKJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and
the truth is not in us. {9} If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. {10} If we say
that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
(1 John 2:1-2 NKJV) My little children, these things I write to you, so that you
may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus
Christ the righteous. {2} And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and
not for ours only but also for the whole world.
