"I have set before
you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you
and your descendants may live; that you may love the LORD your God, that you may
obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life"
(Deuteronomy 10:12-14) "And now, Israel, what does the
LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His
ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with
all your soul, {13} "and to keep the commandments of the LORD and His statutes
which I command you today for your good? {14} "Indeed heaven and the highest
heavens belong to the LORD your God, also the earth with all that is in it.
(Deuteronomy 30:19-20) "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you,
that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore
choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; {20} "that you may
love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to
Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in
the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to
give them."
(Psalms 105:3-4) Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who
seek the LORD! {4} Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore!
(Isaiah 55:6-7) Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is
near. {7} Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For
He will abundantly pardon.
(Isaiah 58:6-8) "Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of
wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that
you break every yoke? {7} Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And
that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked,
that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? {8} Then your
light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth
speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the LORD
shall be your rear guard.
(Hosea 6:6) For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more
than burnt offerings.
(Micah 6:8) He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD
require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your
God?
(Zechariah 7:9-10) "Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Execute true justice, Show
mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother. {10} Do not oppress the widow or
the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart
Against his brother.'
(Matthew 18:2-4) Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst
of them, {3} and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and
become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. {4}
"Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the
kingdom of heaven.
(Mark 12:29-31) Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is:
'Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. {30} 'And you shall love the
LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and
with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. {31} "And the second,
like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other
commandment greater than these."
(John 3:3-6) Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." {4} Nicodemus said
to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into
his mother's womb and be born?" {5} Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to
you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of
God. {6} "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit.
(John 4:23-24) "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers
will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to
worship Him. {24} "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in
spirit and truth."
(John 6:53-56) Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless
you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in
you. {54} "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I
will raise him up at the last day. {55} "For My flesh is food indeed, and My
blood is drink indeed. {56} "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in
Me, and I in him.
(John 14:15-18) "If you love Me, keep My commandments. {16} "And I will pray the
Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever;
{17} "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither
sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in
you. {18} "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
(John 14:23) Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep
My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home
with him.
(John 15:4) "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of
itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
(John 15:7-13) "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what
you desire, and it shall be done for you. {8} "By this My Father is glorified,
that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. {9} "As the Father loved
Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. {10} "If you keep My commandments,
you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and
abide in His love. {11} "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may
remain in you, and that your joy may be full. {12} "This is My commandment, that
you love one another as I have loved you. {13} "Greater love has no one than
this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.
(John 17:20-26) "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will
believe in Me through their word; {21} "that they all may be one, as You,
Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world
may believe that You sent Me. {22} "And the glory which You gave Me I have given
them, that they may be one just as We are one: {23} "I in them, and You in Me;
that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have
sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. {24} "Father, I desire that
they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My
glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the
world. {25} "O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known
You; and these have known that You sent Me. {26} "And I have declared to them
Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in
them, and I in them."

baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall
receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. {39} "For the promise is to you and to your
children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."
(Acts 17:24-27) "God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord
of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. {25} "Nor is He
worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all
life, breath, and all things. {26} "And He has made from one blood every nation
of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their
preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, {27} "so that they
should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him,
though He is not far from each one of us;
(Acts 19:2-6) he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you
believed?" So they said to him, "We have not so much as heard whether there is a
Holy Spirit." {3} And he said to them, "Into what then were you baptized?" So
they said, "Into John's baptism." {4} Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with
a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him
who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus." {5} When they heard this,
they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. {6} And when Paul had laid
hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and
prophesied.

fulfillment of the law.

but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by
faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
(Galatians 5:22-25) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, {23} gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law. {24} And those who are Christ's have crucified the
flesh with its passions and desires. {25} If we live in the Spirit, let us also
walk in the Spirit.
(Ephesians 1:3-7) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who
has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
{4} just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we
should be holy and without blame before Him in love, {5} having predestined us
to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure
of His will, {6} to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made
us accepted in the Beloved. {7} In Him we have redemption through His blood, the
forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
(Hebrews 11:6) But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who
comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who
diligently seek Him.
(Hebrews 12:14) Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one
will see the Lord:
(James 1:27) Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to
visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from
the world.
