He wants you to know that you can trust Him. His character is love, kindness, mercy, faithfulness; He only does what is right and just. Thus says the LORD: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight," says the LORD. (Jeremiah 9:23-24 NKJV) We are now in a time of a new reformation. It seems that in every generation God increases the light of revelation of knowing Him in a greater way. We are now coming into a greater understanding of the goodness of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2nd Corinthians 4:6 NKJV) This revelation will increase until the earth is filled with the knowledge of the glory of God. For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14 NKJV)
Exodus 6:2-3 NKJV And God spoke to Moses and said to him: "I am the LORD. (3) I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name LORD I was not known to them. Exodus 6:6-7 NKJV Therefore say to the children of Israel: 'I am the LORD; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. (7) I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the LORD your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. Deuteronomy 4:35-40 NKJV (35) To you it was shown, that you might know that the LORD Himself is God; there is none other besides Him. (36) Out of heaven He let you hear His voice, that He might instruct you; on earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words out of the midst of the fire. (37) And because He loved your fathers, therefore He chose their descendants after them; and He brought you out of Egypt with His Presence, with His mighty power, (38) driving out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land as an inheritance, as it is this day. (39) Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the LORD Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. (40) You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD your God is giving you for all time." Deuteronomy 7:7-12 NKJV (7) The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; (8) but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. (9) "Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; (10) and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. (11) Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them. (12) "Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers. 1 Chronicles 28:9 NKJV "As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. 1 Chronicles 29:17 NKJV (17) I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You. of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son
into the world, that we might live through Him. (10) In this is love,
not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the
propitiation for our sins. (11) Beloved, if God so loved us, we also
ought to love one another. (12) No one has seen God at any time. If we
love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in
us. (13) By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He
has given us of His Spirit.
