May the words of my mouth and the
meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD. When I remember You on
my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches. Because You have been my help,
Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows close
behind You; Your right hand upholds me.

(Deuteronomy 4:39 NKJV) "Therefore know this day, and consider it in
your heart, that the LORD Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth
beneath; there is no other.
(Joshua 1:7-9 NKJV) "Only be strong and very courageous, that you may
observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do
not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever
you go. {8} "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you
shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all
that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you
will have good success. {9} "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of
good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with
you wherever you go."
(1 Samuel 12:24 NKJV) "Only fear the LORD, and serve Him in truth with all
your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
(Psalms 1:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the
ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the
scornful; {2} But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he
meditates day and night. {3} He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of
water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not
wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
(Psalms 4:3-5 NKJV) But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is
godly; The LORD will hear when I call to Him. {4} Be angry, and do not sin.
Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah {5} Offer the
sacrifices of righteousness, And put your trust in the LORD.
(Psalms 5:1-3 NKJV) Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation. {2}
Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray.
{3} My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct
it to You, And I will look up.
(Psalms 8:3-5 NKJV) When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The
moon and the stars, which You have ordained, {4} What is man that You are
mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? {5} For You have made him
a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
(Psalms 19:13-14 NKJV) Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let
them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be
innocent of great transgression. {14} Let the words of my mouth and the
meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my
Redeemer.
(Psalms 41:1-3 NKJV) Blessed is he who considers the poor; The LORD will deliver
him in time of trouble. {2} The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, And
he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his
enemies. {3} The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will
sustain him on his sickbed.
(Psalms 63:6-8 NKJV) When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the
night watches. {7} Because You have been my help, Therefore in the shadow of
Your wings I will rejoice. {8} My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand
upholds me.
(Psalms 64:1 NKJV) Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation; Preserve my life from
fear of the enemy.
(Psalms 77:6 NKJV) I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within
my heart, And my spirit makes diligent search.
(Psalms 77:11-12 NKJV) I will remember the works of the LORD; Surely I will
remember Your wonders of old. {12} I will also meditate on all Your work, And
talk of Your deeds.
(Psalms 103:1-6 NKJV) Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me,
bless His holy name! {2} Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His
benefits: {3} Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, {4}
Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and
tender mercies, {5} Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your
youth is renewed like the eagle's. {6} The LORD executes righteousness And
justice for all who are oppressed.
(Psalms 104:33-34 NKJV) I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing
praise to my God while I have my being. {34} May my meditation be sweet to Him;
I will be glad in the LORD.
(Psalms 119:15-16 NKJV) I will meditate on Your precepts, And contemplate Your
ways. {16} I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.
(Psalms 119:27-28 NKJV) Make me understand the way of Your precepts; So shall I
meditate on Your wondrous works. {28} My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen
me according to Your word.
(Psalms 119:47-50 NKJV) And I will delight myself in Your commandments, Which I
love. {48} My hands also I will lift up to Your commandments, Which I love, And
I will meditate on Your statutes. {49} Remember the word to Your servant, Upon
which You have caused me to hope. {50} This is my comfort in my affliction, For
Your word has given me life.
(Psalms 119:97-99 NKJV) Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the
day. {98} You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies; For
they are ever with me. {99} I have more understanding than all my teachers, For
Your testimonies are my meditation.
(Psalms 119:147-148 NKJV) I rise before the dawning of the morning, And cry for
help; I hope in Your word. {148} My eyes are awake through the night watches,
That I may meditate on Your word.
(Psalms 145:5 NKJV) I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty,
And on Your wondrous works.
(Malachi 3:16-17 NKJV) Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, And
the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before
Him For those who fear the LORD And who meditate on His name. {17} "They
shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "On the day that I make them
My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves
him."
(Luke 12:23-25 NKJV) "Life is more than food, and the body is more than
clothing. {24} "Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which
have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are
you than the birds? {25} "And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to
his stature?
(Romans 8:16-18 NKJV) The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we
are children of God, {17} and if children, then heirs; heirs of God and joint
heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified
together. {18} For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not
worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
(Romans 11:22 NKJV) Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on
those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His
goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
(Philippians 4:4-8 NKJV) Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
{5} Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. {6} Be anxious
for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God; {7} and the peace of God, which
surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ
Jesus. {8} Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are
noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are
lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there
is anything praiseworthy; meditate on these things.
(Hebrews 12:1-4 NKJV) Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a
cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily
ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, {2}
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that
was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at
the right hand of the throne of God. {3} For consider Him who endured such
hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in
your souls. {4} You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.
