Gary Ballard was born and raised in the
Northwestern part of the United States. He grew up in a Christian
home and attended an Assembly of God church with his family.
He has served as a teacher and an elder in his church.
On a trip to Manila, Philippines at Christmas time
in 1996 Gary was greatly impacted while ministering to the poor on
the streets there. Experiencing God's loving compassion for the people led to many insights and revelations about God's love.
In 1997 Gary felt called by God to publish the
gospel of Jesus Christ on the Internet. He then started the
SeekGod.org web site. Later that year Gary made another missions trip to the Philippines. He met his future wife, Suzzhette on that trip and they were married in 1998.
Since the beginning of the SeekGod.org web site the response from people around the world has been tremendous. Recognizing God’s blessing on the site
and the great potential to reach many more people Gary and Suzzhette formed Seek
God Ministries in 2002. Gary believes that the Internet is the most
cost effective tool to publish the gospel that God has ever given
the church.
The messages that Gary has written do not reflect the
views of any denomination but are for the body of Christ everywhere.
They are written as the Holy Spirit leads him. The articles have touched
many people’s hearts in every age group and nearly every country.
Gary and Suzzhette have three young children; Joshua, Alianna, and Shekinah. Gary and his family moved to the Philippines in November of 2007 to fulfill a calling to Asia that the Lord had placed in their hearts several years before. They are working as missionaries with the goal of introducing people to Jesus and edifying the body of Christ. Their passion is to see the body of Christ come into maturity and unity through experiencing the Father's love. Gary and Suzzhette have a calling for the poor, especially homeless street kids. Their desire is to see lives changed by the love of God.
Gary continues to be fully committed to the web site ministry. Often his experiences in the Philippines have led to revelations and insights which have become articles at the Seek God web site.
One of the goals that SGM has in the Philippines is to develop a prayer mountain camp. The prayer mountain will be a place for people who are hungry for God to come and experience God's presence. The vision of the camp is that it would be a place that provides edification for pastors, ministry workers, and youth.
Part of the vision for the camp is that it will also be used as a place to introduce street kids to Jesus. We want to provide kids from very poor neighborhoods a life changing encounter with Jesus. We want them to experience God the Father's love for them and learn from the Bible about God's plan for their life. We will be working with local churches in poor areas to do follow up. We believe that families and whole neighborhoods will be transformed through these outreaches. You can learn more at Meet God Mountain and our StreetKids.net sites

Suzzhette, Gary,

For you see your calling, brethren, that
not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are
called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame
the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame
the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things
which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to
nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But
of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God; and
righteousness and sanctification and redemption; that, as it is written, "He
who glories, let him glory in the LORD." (1 Corinthians 1:26-31)
Jesus says, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As
the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine,
neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the
branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without
Me you can do nothing." (John 15:4-5)
This was the Lord's doing; It is marvelous
in our eyes.
(Psalms 118:23)
