The purpose of Seek God Ministries is:
1. To introduce people in all nations to Jesus
Christ so that they may become His disciples.
(Matthew 28:18-20) And Jesus came
and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in
heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have
commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the
age." Amen.
2. To provide inspired teachings that edifies the
body of Christ.
(Ephesians 4:11-16) And He Himself
gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some
pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work
of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all
come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of
God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness
of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro
and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of
men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking
the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the
head; Christ; from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by
what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by
which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the
edifying of itself in love.
3. To reveal God’s love to people through actions
of compassion, being led by the Holy Spirit and in obedience to the
commandments given by God through the Holy Bible.
(1 John 3:16-18) Hereby perceive
we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we
ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this
world's good, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his
bowels of compassion from him, how dwells the love of God in him? My
little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in
deed and in truth.
(Isaiah 58:6-10) "Is this not the
fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo
the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break
every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that
you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the
naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own
flesh? ….If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the
afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your
darkness shall be as the noonday.
Mission of Seek God Ministries
As part of the body of Christ we recognize that
our mission is to continue the mission of Jesus Christ upon the
earth so that He may be glorified. We must go forth in the anointing
of the Holy Spirit to…
1.) Preach the gospel to the humble.
2.) Heal the brokenhearted.
3.) To proclaim freedom to the captives and the
opening of the prison to those who are in bondage.
4.) To bring recovery of sight to those who are
blind.
We recognize these mission directives have both
physical and spiritual implications. We pray that all that we do
points to Jesus Christ as a person's source of salvation, strength,
help, and love.
Luke 4:18 - 19 “The Spirit of the
Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to
the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim
liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set
at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year
of the Lord.” We invite you to
partner with us
in this mission.
