I'm involved in a group called youth with a mission. i was just surfing the net when I thought to search for the name Jesus Christ, you know, see if anyone in computer land ever thought about him. I suppose you are a church. Well I just want to thank you as well as all the others who have made these web pages to offer the world hope. your message made me cry and made me remember things that I forget often. I often forget the simplicity of the gospel, the gift that god gave us through Jesus. Anyway, I'm going to Thailand in 3 months to lead an outreach team for 2 months, so pray that god will always lead me and that Jesus will always remind me of his presence. It was like my eyes and my heart have been opened, I'm a practising Catholic, but since this happened, things are different now. A love so beautiful which knows of no obstacles. There are no human words to desribe the feeling. Some things I may have taken for granted in the past, I now look at with a different light, I notice a lot of things which I was not aware of in the past, with people that is. I think, I pray and I hope its getting stronger. Its like, I've found or shown the pulse of life and now I want it more than anything. The love that Jesus wants us to feel is too much for my heart.

My life has always seemed bad to me. My mother raised me with little love and my dad left us at age 2. Later he came back and as time went on he sexually abused me. That has been the hardest thing to over come and I still have my bad days. But I know now that it will be ok and God has helped me with it. I have also forgiven my dad for what he has done. Life is tough, but if it wasn`t we wouldn`t look forward to what is ahead .

I went to church every Sunday with my Dad and older sister, but failed to learn anything about the Lord and Jesus Christ. (I am not sure why, it was long ago and the Catholic church was all spoken in latin and not what I would call 'friendly'. I want to learn about the Lord now. I want to become part of the family of God. But it is difficult for me. Any help and prayers you can give me would be appreciated.
